Whilst it is a great idea in principal, what information is currently in the public domain is not enough to answer some of the more obvious questions such as:
What are the security implications with this service and who owns the data transferred?
If the current target market is consumer, the leisure industry e.g. hotels and coffee houses, airports and train stations all via existing emailing devices such as iPhone; how are the Partnering VARs going to be a part of this?
Word is that when a similar service offering for the enterprise market comes out later this year, there’ll be spin-off technology that will make it easier for SME B2B selling… in other words, the majority may just want to wait it out for now.
